Content Blocks let you build your own sections with images and text, then place them anywhere on your website. They're a flexible way to create richer, more unique pages that fit your business.
What are Content Blocks?
A Content Block section is a list of blocks, each with a title, an image, and some text. It works like other sections, such as About Us, but with more freedom:
Create as many Content Block sections as you like, each with any number of blocks.
Place them anywhere: on any page, on several pages, or more than once on the same page.
Reuse them easily from your Content Block library.
For example, use images and text for an events feed, icons and text for business highlights, or title-only blocks to list your partners.
Step 1: Open a page
Log in to your UENI Hub and click Edit Website.
Click Pages and choose the page for your Content Block.
Step 2: Add a Content Block section
Click Add Section and select Content Block.
Choose New Content Block, or pick an existing one from your library.
For a new one, enter a section title and click Add Content Block.
Step 3: Add your blocks
Click Add block, then fill in each block's details.
Title | The title of the block. This is styled as a level 3 heading on your website; you can use it for titles or other short textual highlights. |
Description | The text content for the block. This works like all other description elements on your UENI website, allowing you to add any text with different headers, links, or bullets. |
Image | The feature image for the block. This is an optional element. The image will always be placed on the left of the text content (on Desktop view) or above the text content (on Mobile view). |
Alignment | This option provides further customisation to the placement of the image on the Desktop view and allows you to select the alignment of the image and text: top, middle, or bottom. |
Warning: Every block needs at least a title or a description.
Step 4: Edit, reorder or delete blocks
Edit: click a block's name to change its details.
Reorder: click Edit, drag blocks by their left handle, then click Save.
Delete: click Edit, click the bin icon on the right, then click Save.
Step 5: Reuse your Content Blocks
All your Content Blocks are saved in a library, so you can add them to other pages. When you update a Content Block, the change appears everywhere it's used on your site.
