Your header's call-to-action (CTA) buttons are among the first things visitors see, so making them clear and on-brand helps turn visitors into customers. Let's dive in!
Step 1: Access the UENI Editor
From your UENI Hub, click Edit Website in the top menu.
Step 2: Open the Header section
Open the Pages menu, go to your Home page, then select Header.
Step 3: Open the Buttons menu
Click Buttons to see all your CTA options.
Step 4: Choose and style your buttons
Pick which buttons appear in your header:
Message: opens your Contact Form so visitors can send you a message.
Book: opens the booking tool (only for sites with bookable services).
Action buttons: two custom buttons, one for the header and one for the navigation menu.
Note: The Contact Form opened by the Message button has its own settings, like field names and what happens after sending. See how to edit your contact form.
For each button, set a label and click Customize to choose:
Whether to show the label, an icon, or both
The icon, its color and size
A border, text size and background color
Action buttons
Give your action button a label and choose what it does: open an external link, go to a page on your site, call a phone number, send a WhatsApp message, or link to a product or service.
Pro tip: You can use your Standalone Form URL as your action button's link.
Warning: Header action buttons are separate from the action button on your contact form's confirmation message. They're set in different places.
Step 5: Arrange and align your buttons
Below the action buttons, choose your primary CTAs, drag the buttons into your preferred order, and turn social media share buttons on or off.
Then set the alignment and shape of your buttons.
Final thoughts
Click Save when everything looks right. Done! Your header buttons are ready to turn visitors into customers.
