Your Contact Form is how customers send you messages and booking requests. Tailoring its wording, fields and follow-up makes it easier for customers to reach you, and helps you get the details you need.
Warning: You'll be notified of new messages and booking requests in your UENI Hub and by email. Booking requests aren't confirmed bookings, so reply to your customer to confirm.
Step 1: Open your Contact Form
Open the UENI Editor, click Pages, choose a page with your Contact Form, then select Contact Form. The preview on the right updates as you edit.
Step 2: Edit the title, subtitle and warning text
Contact Form Title: the heading above the form. Untick the box to hide it.
Subtitle: a short line under the title.
Warning Text: small print under the send button.
Pro tip: Use the subtitle to tell customers how and when you'll follow up.
Step 3: Rename the form fields
In the Labels card, change what each field is called:
Description label (default "Description"): try "Tell us about your event" or "What can we help with?"
Name label (default "Your name")
Email label (default "Your email")
Phone label (default "Your phone number")
Note: Leave a label empty to keep the standard wording. Name and email are always required.
Step 4: Choose whether a phone number is required
In the Phone number card, turn on Make phone number required. Visitors will see an asterisk and must fill in the field to send. Leave it off if email is enough.
Note: Turn this on if you usually call customers back. Asking for more details can mean fewer people finish the form.
Step 5: Rename the send button
In the Submit button card, enter a Button label. The default is "Send Message", but "Request a quote", "Book a call" or "Get in touch" often work better.
Step 6: Choose what happens after sending
In the After submission card, choose an option under When the form is submitted:
Show a message (default): visitors stay on your site and see a confirmation.
Open Page URL: send visitors to any web address, like a thank-you page. Enter the full address starting with https://.
Open Page: send visitors to another page on your website.
If you choose Show a message, you can also set:
Confirmation message (default "Someone will be in touch with you soon."), with bold, italics, links or lists.
Action button (default "Send another message").
When the button is clicked: Stay on this form, Open Page URL or Open Page.
Step 7: Save your changes
Check the preview, then click Save.

Done, your Contact Form now speaks your customers' language and gets you the details you need!
