Your business may have gone through some major changes, or you're planning on having a makeover for your professional website. Once your website is built on our end, it is available online for all visitors. You might be wondering - how can you temporarily deactivate some sections on your site while taking the time to make edits?

In this article, we will show you an easy way to hide sections while you make changes.

Please note: This work around is for websites currently using Advanced Layouts.

Step 1: Log into your Editor

First, log in to your Hub and select the Edit Website tab.

Step 2: Head to Pages, choose the relevant page and remove the sections you want to hide

Step 3: Create a hidden page and add the sections you want to make edits

Simply click on Pages, choose Add a Page or Link and select New Blank Page

You can then add any or all relevant sections that you want to potentially make edits to this page.

After that, simply make the page hidden by switching off the toggle.

Step 4: Make your edits

Simply click on each of the section you just added and you can now customise each section while they are hidden.

Once you are ready to make the sections visible, simply add the relevant sections back to your desired pages. For more guidance on customising the content of your page, check out this article
