If you owned your domain before joining UENI, or bought it elsewhere, you may need to update its DNS records, for example to move email records or verify your domain with other services. You can do this yourself in your UENI Hub.
Warning: You need a domain linked to your website first. Buy one with UENI or connect one you own.
Step 1: Open your DNS settings
Log in to your UENI account and go to Pro Features.
Scroll to the My Domains tile.
Click Edit DNS.
Step 2: Add a DNS record
Click + Add at the top right, then fill in the four fields. The service you're setting up usually tells you what to enter.
Type: SRV, A, CNAME, TXT or MX. MX records are often used for email, and TXT records to verify your domain with other providers.
Name: the record's unique name.
Content: the record's value.
TTL: how long the record is remembered by the DNS system.
Step 3: Edit or delete a record
Click the pencil icon in the Actions column next to a record. Change any field, or click Delete to remove it.
Note: DNS changes can take a few hours to take effect.
Final thoughts
That's it, you're ready to manage your domain's DNS records!
