Yes! If you bought a domain from another provider, you can connect it to your UENI website in a few steps, so customers find you at the address you already own.
Warning: Domain connection is available on all plans, but only after your website is finished. Until then, the Pro-Features tab is locked. Not sure of your website's status? Ask us in the UENI Messenger.
Step 1: Open Pro-Features
Log in to your UENI Hub and open the Pro-Features tab.
Step 2: Enter your domain
Enter your domain name and click Connect. We'll email you the details, so check your inbox and your spam folder.
Step 3: Update your nameservers
Go to your domain provider's dashboard and change your nameservers to ours. Find step-by-step guides for each provider here.
Warning: Domains from Wix need different steps. Follow our Wix nameserver guide.
Note: Nameservers tell the internet which web host manages your domain. If you point yours to UENI, we can show your website at your domain.
Troubleshooting
"The Pro-Features tab is locked": your website isn't finished yet. Contact us to check its status.
"I didn't get the email with the details": check your spam folder.
"My provider isn't in the guides": send us a message and we'll email you the next steps.
Final thoughts
Once your nameservers are updated, your domain will point to your UENI website. Congrats, customers can now find you at your own address!
