Already using an email provider like Google or Microsoft with your domain? Your email settings usually move across automatically when you connect your domain to UENI. If they don't, or if you're setting up email outside UENI, here's how to add the records yourself.
Note: New to DNS? First, read how to edit advanced DNS settings for your domains.
Step 1: Get your records from your email provider
Each email provider gives you its own DNS records to verify your domain and handle your email. You'll usually need several CNAME, MX, and TXT records. See the instructions for:
Step 2: Add each record in UENI
Open the DNS settings for your domain.
Click + Add in the top-right corner.
Fill in the record's details from your email provider.
Click Save.
Repeat for every record your provider gives you.
Warning: DNS changes can take a few hours to take effect.
Troubleshooting
"My email still isn't working": wait a few hours for the changes to take effect, then check each record matches exactly what your provider gave you.
"Still stuck": contact our support team.
Final thoughts
Done, your email provider is connected to your UENI domain!
