If you no longer want your domain registered with UENI, you can transfer it to another registrar. The process starts with UENI and is completed with your new registrar, who then takes over ownership for you.
Warning: This service has a one-time administrative fee. Domains registered or transferred in the last 60 days aren't eligible for transfer.
What you'll need
.uk domains: an IPS tag, which you must provide to our support team.
.com domains: a transfer code, which UENI provides.
Step 1: Request the transfer
Contact our team and tell us you'd like to transfer your domain.
Step 2: Pay the transfer fee
Agree to the one-time fee. We'll then unlock your domain and send you the authorization (EPP) code.
Warning: The EPP code is time-sensitive, so use it promptly to avoid delays.
Step 3: Give the code to your new registrar
Share the EPP code with your new registrar to start the transfer.
Step 4: Accept the transfer
Follow the remaining steps from your new registrar to complete it.
