How do I update nameservers on Namecheap?

How to update the nameservers for a domain registered with Namecheap so it points to your UENI website.

To show your UENI website at a domain registered with Namecheap, update its nameservers to the ones we've given you. It only takes a few minutes.

Step 1: Open your domain

  1. Sign in to your Namecheap account.

  2. Select Domain List from the left sidebar.

  3. Click Manage next to your domain.

Step 2: Enter the UENI nameservers

  1. In the Nameservers section, choose Custom DNS.

  2. Enter the exact nameservers from your UENI email.

  3. Click the green check mark to save.

Note: Updates are processed within 3 to 6 hours, but can take up to 72 hours to show everywhere.

Troubleshooting

  • "My changes didn't save": make sure you clicked the green check mark after entering the nameservers.

  • "My domain still shows the old site": allow up to 72 hours for the change to spread.

  • "I can't find the nameservers you gave me": check your email from UENI, including your spam folder, or contact our support team.
