Planning a big launch, or making major changes? Your UENI website is visible to everyone once it's built, but you can add a "coming soon" or "under construction" overlay to hide it while you work.
Step 1: Open Website Overlay
Log in to your UENI Hub and select Edit Website.
Click Settings.
Select Website Overlay.
Step 2: Design your overlay
Your preview now shows only the overlay. Customize its four elements:
Image: your logo or an under-construction image.
Tagline: for example, "Coming soon" or "Under construction".
Action buttons: such as send a message, call or book.
Background: an image or colour.
Note: Seeing the overlay in the preview doesn't mean it's live. It only goes live once you turn it on and save.
Step 3: Turn on your overlay
When you're happy, turn on the overlay and click Save.
How do I know it's active?
You won't see the overlay while editing other pages. Instead, a warning on the main page of your Editor shows it's active. While it's on, this is what your customers see.
Troubleshooting
"My site shows an overlay, but none is active in my Editor": you may still have our older overlay turned on. Contact our support team to remove it so you can use the new one.
