Square is one of the world's most trusted payment platforms. Connect it to your UENI website so customers can pay for your products and services securely and conveniently, right on your site.
Warning: You can't use Stripe and Square together. If Stripe is already turned on, Square will be unavailable.
Step 1: Open Payment Methods
Log in to the UENI Editor.
Click Settings in the left-hand menu.
Open Payment Methods.
Step 2: Connect with Square
Click Connect With Square. You'll go to Square's website, where you can log in or sign up.
Step 3: Allow access
Once logged in, approve the permissions so UENI can take payments on your behalf. You'll return to the UENI Editor and see a confirmation message.
Note: If you have several Square businesses, we'll match your business name and address to connect the right location.
Step 4: Finish setting up Square
In Square, verify your identity and add your payment details so you can take online payments.
Customers can then pay with credit or debit cards, Google Pay, Apple Pay and any other methods set up in Square.
Troubleshooting
"Square is unavailable": Stripe is already turned on. Only one of the two can be used.
"I see a notification and can't take payments": finish your Square setup by verifying your identity and adding payment information.
