In this helpdesk article, we'll guide you through the process of creating and customizing your Slider on your website Header. With these simple steps, you can have more flexibility in editing your Header and make it stands out.


Please note: This feature is currently available for users on the Launch, Plus and Growth plans.


Step 1: Head to Header > Cover > Slideshow


Log in to your Hub and click on Edit Website. Head to Sections then click on Header > Cover and select Slideshow.



Step 2: Customize your Slideshow

  • Adding Images

Choose Add new Slide to add different images that you want to display to your slider. 


  • Adding Titles


Slide Option 1 : You can choose Default to have a universal default title on all slides.



Slide Option 2: When choosing Per slide, you can create unique titles, subtitles and buttons on each slide.



On each slide you can choose different titles, customize the alignment, font size and colour of your text.


  • Adding Subtitles

You can also add subtitle and customize accordingly. 



  • Adding Action Button


Adding action buttons or CTA is a good way to draw visitors' attention. Simply select Action button and customize your own. You can prompt visitors to leave you a message or reach out via calls or texts. 


You can also use button to direct visitors to your Products page or other pages on your site that you want them to visit.


  • Adding transitions to your slideshow 


Once you are satisfied with each individual slide, return to the Cover section where you can customize several options for your slideshow transitions. These options include:


  • Auto Slide: The slideshow will transition automatically.
  • Delay: Set the time interval between slide transitions.
  • Auto Slide Pause on Hover: The slideshow will pause when a user hovers over it.
  • Transition Effects: Choose from various transition effects to enhance your slideshow.
  • Slide Duration: Specify the duration each slide remains visible.

 


You can also customize details like arrows and pagination colour



Step 3: Save your changes

Once you're done, don't forget to click save!
