Page Views

What are page views?

Page views are the number of visits your website receives from public users. Every time someone accesses your business website — regardless of where they're located or what they're looking for — it counts as one page view.

You can check your page views in the Analytics section of your UENI Hub, found within the My Customers tab. Here's what it looks like:

Why do page views matter?

Page views are one of the clearest signals of how visible your business is — both to local customers and further afield. More page views generally means more people finding you, which translates into more potential customers and, ultimately, more sales and bookings.

Alongside page views, your Analytics section also shows a few related metrics worth keeping an eye on:

  • Source of origin — where your visitors are coming from

  • Unique number of users — how many distinct people are visiting

  • Session duration — how long visitors stick around

Watching these numbers together gives you a fuller picture than page views alone — a spike in visits with a short session duration, for example, might mean people aren't finding what they expected.

Using the date range selector

By default, your Analytics section shows page views across a set period. If you want to focus on a specific stretch of time — say, the week of a promotion, or the month since you launched a new page — use the Date Range Selector at the top of the Analytics section.

To use it:

  1. Open the Analytics section of your UENI Hub.

  2. Click the Date Range Selector near the top of the page.

  3. Choose a start and end date, or select one of the preset ranges if available.

  4. Your page view figures — along with source of origin, unique users, and session duration — will automatically update to reflect only that date range.
