How do I update nameservers on 123-Reg?

How to update the nameservers for a domain registered with 123-Reg so it points to your UENI website.

To show your UENI website at a domain registered with 123-Reg, update its nameservers to the ones we've given you. It only takes a few minutes.

Step 1: Open your domain

Log in to your 123-Reg control panel. In Domain names, select the domain you want to connect to UENI and click Manage.

Step 2: Unlock your domain (if needed)

Changing a top-level domain like .com or .net? Unlock it first:

  1. Select Manage Domain Locking and click Unlock domain.

  2. Click Back to Control Panel.

Step 3: Enter the UENI nameservers

  1. Select Change Nameservers, then click the Change Nameservers (DNS) button.

  2. Enter the exact nameservers from your UENI email.

  3. Click Update.

Note: Updates are processed within 3 to 6 hours, but can take up to 72 hours to show everywhere.

Troubleshooting

  • "I can't change the nameservers": .com and .net domains must be unlocked first. See Step 2.

  • "My domain still shows the old site": allow up to 72 hours for the change to spread.

  • "I can't find the nameservers you gave me": check your email from UENI, including your spam folder, or contact our support team.
