I already have a Google Business Profile. Is this a problem?

How to connect an existing Google Business Profile to your UENI website, what syncs, and how to request optimization.

No problem at all! If you already have a Google Business Profile, connect it to your UENI website. Your website updates will then sync to Google automatically, customers will always see your latest information, and your Google reviews will appear on your website to build trust.

Step 1: Open My Customers

Log in to your UENI Hub and click the My Customers tab.

Step 2: Connect your profile

  1. Scroll to the Google Business Profile section.

  2. Click Connect my Google account.

  3. Sign in with the Google account that manages your existing profile, and follow Google's prompts to give UENI access.

What syncs once you're connected

  • Syncs to Google: your opening hours and services, which overwrite what's currently on Google.

  • Doesn't sync: business name, address, phone number, amenities, promotions, and testimonials.

  • Photos: your existing Google photos stay, and your website's gallery and hero images are added.

Warning: The sync only goes one way, from your website to Google. Changes you make on Google won't appear on your UENI website.

Step 3: Start collecting reviews

Share your Google review link with customers. Reviews boost your visibility on Google and build trust with new customers.

Request listing optimization (optional)

Our team can polish your profile so it looks professional and matches your business details.

  1. In your UENI Hub, go to Pro Features.

  2. Scroll to Next steps to make your business successful.

  3. Find Google Listing Optimisation and click Request now.

Note: Once we've processed your request, the improvements will appear on Google.

Final thoughts

Done, your website and Google profile now work together to help customers find you!
