A privacy policy tells customers what information you collect from them and how you use it. In some places, it's required by law. Every UENI customer can add one, and we provide a template to get you started.
Step 1: Open Merchant Policies
Log in to your UENI Hub and select Edit Website.
Click Settings, then Merchant Policies.
Select Privacy Policy.
Step 2: Add your policy
Write your own policy in the section, or use our template:
Click Example Policy.
Review the pre-written policy and click Apply Policy.
Warning: Privacy rules vary by location. Check that the template meets the requirements where you do business, and edit it to match how you handle customer data.
Step 3: Save your changes
Click Save. You'll see a preview of your policy.
Note: Customers can read your policy in Merchant Policies at the bottom of your website.
