Once you've made your services bookable, the Booking Settings area is where you decide how customers book them. From a single screen you can choose whether bookings need your approval, define the time slots customers can choose from, and sync confirmed bookings to your favourite calendar app.
Here's what you'll find inside Booking Settings:
⚠️ Before you start: make sure you've already made at least one service bookable. If you haven't, read How to create a bookable service first.
Step 1: Log in to the Editor
Start by logging into your UENI account and opening the website Editor.
Step 2: Open the Booking Settings
In the left-hand panel of the Editor, click the Settings menu, then open the Booking Settings submenu. This is where all the options below live.
Step 3: Auto Booking Confirmation
The Auto Booking Confirmation toggle controls whether bookings need your approval before they're confirmed.
Off (default) — every booking arrives as a request. You review it and confirm (or decline) it manually. Good if you want full control over your schedule.
On — bookings are confirmed automatically the moment a customer books, with no action needed from you. Good if your bookable hours are already tightly managed and you trust the slot to be available. UENI automatically keeps track of slots based on bookings made, but for best results, we suggest to connect a calendar as explained in step 5.
Note: this is the default setting for new bookable services. You can still change this behavior per service, when configuring your services.
Step 4: Bookable Hours
Bookable Hours define the time slots customers are allowed to pick when booking a service.
⚠️ Bookable Hours are separate from your opening hours. Your opening hours tell customers when your business is open; your bookable hours tell them when they're allowed to book a slot. They can overlap — but they don't have to. For example, you might be open 9–6 but only accept bookings between 10 and 4.
Use this section to choose which days and time windows are open for bookings.
Step 5: Booking Calendar
The Booking Calendar section lets you connect an external calendar so that new bookings and booking requests sync automatically. You can connect:
Google Calendar — see How to sync your UENI Services to your Google Calendar.
Outlook Calendar — see How to sync your UENI Services to your Outlook Calendar.
Calendly — see How to sync your UENI Services to your Calendly Calendar.
Once connected, confirmed bookings appear in the synced calendar automatically and already-booked times are blocked off to prevent double-bookings.
