Step 1: Request your transfer
Contact our support team and ask to transfer your domain to UENI. We'll check that your domain is eligible.
Step 2: Prepare your domain
Complete a few steps with your current registrar. These vary by registrar, but may include:
Unlocking your domain name.
Getting an authorization code, also called a transfer key or EPP code.
Checking the contact information on your domain. Your registrar may use the administrator's contact details during the transfer.
Step 3: We start the transfer
Once your domain is ready, our support team starts the transfer.
Note: Transfers can take up to 5-7 days to complete.
Step 4: Your domain is up and running
When the transfer succeeds, we'll let you know that your domain is up and running.
Troubleshooting
"My domain isn't eligible": our team will explain why when we check it. Some domains can't be moved yet, for example if they were registered or transferred recently.
"I can't find my authorization code": ask your current registrar for the transfer key or EPP code.
