Announcements banners are a great way to grab your visitors' attention and effectively communicate important messages, promotions, or updates right at the top of your website. That's why we've made editing your announcement banners super simple, so you can update your offers whenever you like. Most importantly, this feature is currently available to customers on all plans.


Here's a step-by-step guide on how to add and edit your Announcement Banner:


Step 1: Head to the Announcement section on your Editor


Log in to your Hub and click on Edit Website. Head to Sections then click on Header and Announcement.




Step 2: Choose where you want to show your Announcement


Choose Show Announcement by ticking on the box and configure whether you want the announcement to appear on All pages or just on the Home page.



Step 3: Customise your Announcement Message



Step 4: Configure the behaviour of your Announcement, set Background and Font Color. 


  • You can choose to have your announcement appear all the time or make your announcement closable by ticking on the box.  
  • You can also freely change the background color, font size and color of your announcement.



Step 5 (Optional): Add an Action Button


You can add an Action Button by ticking the box next to this option to create further prompts for your visitors. For example, you can promote coupon codes or site-wide promotions and link directly to your Shop page.





Other use cases include: 

  • Getting more leads by using the customisable Action Button to receive more calls, messages or WhatsApp text.

  • Showcase new services or products: bring the spotlight to your latest work by linking the button directly to your Products or Services page. You can also link any other pages on your site that you want your customers to visit.



Finally, just like with the Announcement Banner, you can freely customise your Action Button with different colours.





Step 6: Save your work! 


Once you are happy with your edits, don't forget to click SAVE and voila, your Announcement Banner is now live on your page!
