Once you have access to the Google Business Profile we created for you, video verification may be the only option to ensure your business gets verified on Google. Here's a quick "how-to" explaining the process.

Prerequisites
- Ensure you have access to your Google Business Profile.
- Please check with our Customer Success team or your Account Manager if you don't have it yet.
- Ensure video verification is available as a verification method for your Google Business Profile.

1. Access Business Profile on business.google.com
Go to https://business.google.com and search for your business. It should show load a screen like the following:
Key Highlights
- “Your business is not visible to customers”
- “Get verified” button is available
2. Start the Verification Process
Click on “Get Verified”, this will open a model with different options.
3. Confirm Business Video verification
Click on the “Next” button to load the verification requirements and the verification tips screen.
You must comply with all the requirements to get your business verified!
Requirements
- Your location should match your Business Profile address
- Example: street sign, nearby businesses
- Your business name and category should match your Business Profile
- Example: business exterior and interior, products or equipment
- You're authorised to represent this business
- Example: unlocking shop entrance, operating payment tool, proof of address
Tips
- Plan ahead. Make sure you capture all 3 requirements in 1 continuous recording.
- Take your time. Most successful videos are 1-2 minutes.
- Start outside. Capture your business surroundings first before moving inside.
4. Record & Upload Video
You will have to complete the recording on your mobile device. Ensure that you’re signed in to the same Google account as the one on the Google Business Profile and scan the QR code to record the video.
Once on your mobile device, you can complete the recording:
- Click “Next” and allow access to the camera and microphone of your device
- Click the red circle to start recording the video
- Confirm you show everything and click “Upload video”
- If you feel something is missing, click “Try again” to make another recording
