A Google Business Profile (GBP) helps customers find you on Google Search and Google Maps. Google has strict rules about who can have one, so here's how to give your business the best chance.
Warning: UENI can create a GBP for you, but Google makes the final decision, so approval isn't guaranteed.
Who can have a Google Business Profile?
Eligible: businesses with a physical storefront customers can visit, and service-area businesses that travel to customers, like electricians or mobile hairdressers.
Not eligible: online-only businesses, such as online stores or digital services with no in-person contact.
How to improve your chances
Keep your details consistent: your business name, address, and services should match across your UENI website, social media, and other online listings.
Give a real address: even if you hide your address, you must provide a real, verifiable one for Google's checks.
Avoid duplicate listings: have only one GBP per business, so your information shows correctly on Google.
Warning: Google doesn't accept PO boxes, virtual offices, or mail forwarding addresses.
